We are a youth football organisation that provides football for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 18.
We are dedicated to providing a safe environment for children to enjoy football and strive to bring out the best qualities of all the players. Our Club has the F.A. Charter Standard Club status. Our managers/coaches are all at least FA level 1 qualified (including emergency aid), and they have all been CRB checked by the FA.
Tempest F.C. was established in 1993 when two youth teams playing under the name of Pegasus Youth were asked to leave the club as Pegasus wished to lose the youth arm of their organisation. The two managers formed Tempest F.C for the 1993/94 season.
We have moved on and today we have at least one team in all of the youth football age groups (under 7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14/15/16). Our home base is Broad Lane, Wivenhoe, Essex. Our club colours are a very distinctive Purple and White. We play in the Colchester and District Youth Football League.
